School's out for Summer...or not

So the kids are out for the summer from their Montessori school, they had been counting down the days to just be home.  I was also counting down the days for them to be home as well.  I have so many exciting plans this summer, but what is going to take up most of our summer is ART and MUSIC, as well as learning to pray the Rosary.  We are going to be doing an artist study and playing piano using the Soft Mozart software and playing the ukulee.  Such fun things.

New School Year

The kids are officially back to school. Where did our summer go? Jimena is attending full day, getting off at 3p.m. and Moises well he is perfectly fine with 3 hours. Jimena you go to school so calm, carrying a pleasant smile with you. I wish I was that calm when I was young. You are trying the school lunch and well so far I have gotten very few happy faces meaning you don't really like the food, but you will keep trying until your laptop lunch arrives in the mail. Moises, your still in Lupitas class for the rest of the week until the transition you in to Children's house. I know you don't fit in those small chairs but your not to excited about going back since you keep repeating how much you want to just stay home to play. I love how you find comfort at home, never wanting to leave unless it's to go to the park. Both of you are growing so fast and I want to make sure I don't stay behind growing alongside you.

Goals for the School Year:
1. Jimena and Moises will dress themselves in the mornings.
2. Brush teeth after breakfast and dinner.
3. Clean chair and table after eating and place cups in the sink.
4. Put PJ's by yourselves.
5. Jimena will start scrubbing herself in the shower.

Mom School Year Goals:
1. Have activity for each book list book read.
2. Poem memorization.
3. IPhoto Pro
4. Learn to sew.

Role Playing

How I love being home. My kiddos role playing constantly. "Bus driver (in this case M) driving the kids to school, all the stuffed animals were gathered on to the little bed while the driver sat on a white pillow, sounding out the bus...ruum, ruum. Teacher (in this case J) waiting patiently in the closet, I mean school ready to receive all the kids....but what's this, Barney is crying because Mommy (in this case M) left and its her first day. Everything is OK because teacher (J) is there with her sweet voice to tell Barney she will take care of him, because she has a clean heart. Later that day....Mommy (M) comes back to pick up the kids, daddy can't because he is on the choo, choo. Kids play is so sweet, so pleasant. Thank you God for such a blessing.

Garage work

Day 3 of working on the garage. My dad is converting the garage and the kids keep asking me why buelo is making holes in the walls. David actually got into it as well, as he was my dad's helper, I was so proud of him for helping out and getting along with out to much opinion. My mom has been coming to eat since she has to eat lunch with the hubby and I've been enjoying showing off my cooking skills. The kids had a hard time waking up this morning since today was our families official start of the new time change. By 2pm the kiddos were already cranky so off to bed I sent them and in less than 20 minutes both were fast asleep. Can't wait to get our house back to normal.....its messy everywhere, I'm hoping having more space with the garage will change that.
